On Gods

I found this in the back of one of my notebooks… Although I don’t agree with everything I wrote in it then, I think it reads well!

“Humans are animals and the Gods do not exist. The lives that we live are finite; they are as important as all things on earth. Our neighbors are as fickle as we, and they know no more than the next. Things end; this is life.

The air we breathe is a gift, but not from the gods; no, but from life itself; the very essence of who you are.

A god by any other name; nature, the observer of the inanimate.”
